introduction
This personal project is an exercice where I need to create a Content for a Game before or after DLC and Addons.
For this exercice I choose to create a new class in World of Warcraft before the release of the first extension. So during World of Warcraft "Vanilla".

STEP 1 :
Find Statistics
In a MMORPG, when you create a Content a big part of the job is on the balance of all the stats. And this fact give to me a big exercice of research on data of World of Warcraft "Vanilla".
After few moments, I finally find a website who reference all the stats of Races and Classes of World of Warcraft Vanilla.
At this point I see each races has no same stats for classes, and some races can't use some classes.
But all races has a minimum in each stats and same for each classes.
Now I have to find a good combination between the class I want to create and a race.
Here some stats I find during my research. You can click on the picture to see all
STEP 2 :
What i want to create ?
What I want ? What the game needs ? What can be new and unwaited for the players ?
Some questions I need to ask to myself for find what I can create.
Finally, my love for Gnomes answer to my questions.
I want to play with robots, with technologie like the Chief Gelbin Mekanivelle. So I want to create a class who plays with technology and can invoc some robots for help himself.
This class can be range class but why not use technology for create magical attack ?
The weapon of this class can be a rocket/laser cannon similar to rocket launcher of real life.
Now, I know I want to create the Mekamancer
STEP 3 :
create the mekamancer
Now that I have the concept, I need to create the class. So for now I just want to create the stats of the class at level 1 and three basics spells.
I know I want to reserve this class to the Gnome and with the research I do I know the minimum and the maximum of gnomes and I see the stats of all classes and races combinations. So I have to do a work on the balance.

And after few moments... this is the result :

The last step of this work, the creation of the three basics spells. So with this class I want to create a medium ranged class with heavy armor who can do physical and magical damage and use technologie. And the bonus, I want to create a new kind of invocations in World of Warcraft.

With this reflexion the three spells I create are these ones :

Rocket Blast : Shoot a rocket who deal 8 damages (15m)

Electric Blast : Create an electric explosions around the character and stun all enemies in explosion for 2s (5m)

Protection Robot : Create a Robot who stay for 30s and take 10% of damages taken by the character (2s for cast)
