This production is a Workshop created at ArtFX School. For this workshop we had the objective to create maps and original story with the editor and the universe of ShadowRun Seattle. We had to create 5 levels, and 1 HUB.

In this project we was 10 game designers separate in 3 groups : Content Designers, Level Designers and Technical Designers. 

I was in the group of the Content Designers. I'm go to talk to you about my contribution

STEP 1 :

Create the context & the story

The first work I've done with all other Game Designers is the creation of the context. At this moment we don't want to separate us in groups for create a context which talk to all of us. 

This step was really quick because we all agree to create a background in the universe of ShadowRun with ArtFX School in a role of Mega-Corporation.

After this, I created with one other Content Designer the General Story. We decide to create a story where the player need to free the HUB, after this he can do 4 quest in the order he wants, if he finish 3 missions he can access to the end of the game. And we create a bonus Level at the end.

For the visibility and help to the prod, we create a quick recap and timeline of the order of missions.

STEP 2 :

Analyse and create content

After this step, I work on the creation of allies NPC (Quest Givers and Shops, and items) but before we have to know what kind of content already exist (races for NPC, and Items in shops with their price)

After our analyse I work on the creation of the NPC and their dialogues. This was a big work of creation because we want each NPC has his own character and his own identity.

At last I have to work on the balance of items, with the modifications on stats and price in the shop.

After all this work on the Content of our Campaign in ShadowRun. I help to polish level design, do some playtests and balance the game for create the experience for the players.

That's all for this project ! I hope you like it. This work is a really big work during one week. At the end, we show him to public during the Open Days of our school.
